All-electrical heating is a very expensive solution for detached houses - and it is estimated that electricity prices will double by 2030. There are therefore quite a few who are looking for good environmentally friendly alternatives. This is where our cogeneration system has a market. For an ordinary detached house in Northern Norway, we expect to be able to cut the annual electricity costs by about 40% (based on the electricity price in the period 2015-2019). This is actually a greater reduction in costs than a pellet stove or air-to-air heat pump can provide. Using our CHP system also contributes to CO2 removal from the atmosphere and storage in the soil in the form of biochar that simultaneously provides a healthier and better soil.
